Friends

People who are kind

Whom are sweet as honey

Whom I'll never trade

Ever, even for money

They make me laugh

Even when I'm sad

They make me smile

When I feel bad

We work together

On group projects

Like a bunch of ants

With no rejects

We might be different

With different names

But with friends around

We're all the same

The Teacher

I forgot to do my homework
I better not tell you why
I knew I'd get a consequence
So I had to make a lie

I said I went out running

But he said you were with me

I said I had some chores to do

And he said I watched TV

I said I had to rest in bed

He said I was just fine

I said I didn't know where the stapler went

And he asked " Did you use mine?"

The teacher knows like all my lies

Which makes me really sad

It's really hard to fool the teacher

when the teacher is your dad


My Mum's the Librarian

My mum's the librarian
Now that's not very good
If you don't return a book,
She'll be furious, she would


My mum's the librarian
Now that's not very nice
She reports all your missing books
To the principal that's vice


My mum's the librarian
She's never liked groaning
She'll lock you in a cage
If she hears anyone moaning


My mum's the librarian
A fact that makes me shake
Oh gosh, I lost a library book
Oh gosh, for heaven's sake!



I'm Sick of Cookies!

That's it, cookies!
I feel like a little bird
Eating a bunch of nookies

I'm sick of cookies!
Cookies for lunch
I rather have something healthy
Like salad or bread to munch

I'm sick of cookies!
I say that with a might
My mum thinks it's healthy
That's not even right!

I'm sick of cookies!
Oh, for heaven sake!
I can't complain cause that's the only thing
My mum knows how to make


I Can't Wait for Summer!


I can't wait for summer!
It's 90 days away
It finally really comes the time
To sing and laugh and play


I can't wait for summer!
The day will finally come
It's time for me to do my thing
Like dance or draw or run


I can't wait for summer!
It's coming really near
When it's time to all go to the beach
A moment I'll never tear

I can't wait for summer!
It's coming soon, p-sam!
The only thing I'm worried about
Is my brand-new math exam!
